TIME: The track meet will begin promptly at 3:30pmENTRIES: You can have up to 3 entries in the sprint events (100, 100H, 110H 200,400). 2 entries for the field events. 3teams on 4x100 and 4x400 relay. Unlimited in the 800 and 1600.FIELD ASSIGNMENTS: In order to run a successful track meet, it is essential to have some help from the visiting coaches. Our objective is to run a good meet and for it to be an efficient meet. If you are uncomfortable running a particular event please let me know and I will switch you with someone .SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The event schedule will be emailed. SCRATCH MEETING: We will have a scratch meeting at 3:00. I will hand out field assignments and an order of events. If you need to make a change or you need to add an athlete, they can add on site at the event. RUNNING EVENTS: Make sure your athletes stay on the track at the end of the race so that we can check their name and get their time. TIMERS: We will use FinishLynx FAT timing, but will need coaches from each school to help with backup timing. SCORING: For meets with four (4) teams or more, the scoring for each race or field event is as follows:10, 8, 6, 4,2, 1.TEAM LOCATION: Each team will need to stay outside the fence and no one except competitors will be allowed in the infield. NUMBER OF EVENTS: Athletes can participate in a total of 5 events including relays Each participant in the Conference Track meet can participate as follows: 3 Field Events & 2Team or 2 Field /1 Running & 2 Team or 1 Field / 2 Running & 2 Team. Each school may enter 2 participants in each event and each school may enter 2 relay teams in each relay event. Total = 3 Individuals & 2 Team = 5 total. Points awarded will be 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1.For every event we will have a first and second call for each event.
