Perimeter Home Meet #2 2025 (Middle School ONLY race)

note that this meet is for middle school runners (grades 5-8) only! NO
HIGH SCHOOL RACES (host school Perimeter only goes through grade 8).
Schedule:
- 4:15pm Middle School Girls race (2 Mile)
- 4:45pm Middle School Boys race (2 Mile)
Perimeter participants are expected to stay after until clean up is completed.
(Pretty
much) unlimited number of entries per school in each race. We will
close entries once we get to around 175 to 200 kids, which is about the
maximum that the course can handle.
Entry Fee: $125 per school
No fee for parking or spectators. We tentatively plan to have concessions available on site.
Entry deadline:
Please try to have the entry fee submitted and received by Friday September 19, 2025
Deadline for on-line entries: Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 11:59pm
Please
be advised that we are asking for a commitment to attend this XC
meet. Consequently, we are asking that the $125 non-refundable entry
fee be received about 10 days before the actual meet. Please contact
Coach Binford if that would be problematic.

Important note:
Please include the HS graduation year in your rosters when you are
entering your athletes on MileSplit. I recommend that you begin your
entries early in case you have any issues.
No awards will be given out at this race.

the meet password. Note: About 2 years ago our email platform changed
and now the email address must include the word "school" (after
perimeter) in order to be received.
Description of Course:
The course for the two middle school races will be the exact same course as was used in the 2023 XC season, and will be the same course as the past several years.
It is 2.0 miles. It starts and finishes on the soccer fields and it
includes a significant amount of time in the woods on trails. There is
a big hill in the woods (down and then back up on the other side)
within that trail portion. A new and improved map of the course is in
the works as of the time of this posting and will be made available to
coaches when completed. Coaches can arrange a time to preview the
course if that is desired. Please do so by contacting Coach Binford
(contact listed above).
