Red Devil Run Down 2026

School Track and Field Attn: Butts County Athletic Complex, Jackson High School - George Tate Drive, Jackson, GA 30233.

Athletes and Coaches Gate: Athletes and Coaches will enter through the "authorized personnel only" gate on the home side near the woods. 

Bus drop off & Bus Parking: Buses will drop off athletes in "authorized area only" and enter through the designated gate. Buses will park on the Bus loop and in the Parking lot near the bus loop.  Overflow parking will park buses in the Student Parking lots. 

WARM-UP AREA: Limited warm-ups area will be  marked and it is for 1st and 2nd call athletes only. Warm Up areas will be strictly enforced. No Camping in the infield area. Athletes sitting in Infield will be told to return to the team tent. After Verbal warnings athletes are subject to disqualifications from other events and Team Coach will be notified of Warnings. No athletes from any school will be able to camp/sit on the pole vault or high jump pits at any time. 

AWARDS: Medals for Top 3 in Each event, Trophies for Top 2 in Each Division (Boys/Girls)

Field Events: Each contestant will be allowed 3 attempts in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus.  All legal first attempts will be measured.  Throws and Jumps will not be measured after the first attempt if the performance is not beyond the minimum measurement mark. However if Athlete throws further than first attempt that can be substituted for the first attempt.
