Meet Information
Venue: Ware County High School
Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025
Registration: If you are interested in registering for this meet, you MUST contact Coach Brittany Hood via email at bhood@ware.k12.ga.us. We are NOT registering through MileSplit. We will accept a total of 10 teams on a first come first serve basis.

Format:
Coaches meeting: Pick up your envelope when you arrive from Coach Hood.
Boys Race: 4:00 PM
Girls race: 4:45 PM
Races are V/JV combined and you can run as many as you want. Please email me an approximate number of boys and girls that you will have running. I don't need names (just an approximate number) and you may add/subtract on the day of the race.
Each school will receive a team envelope with a Girls score sheet and a Boys score sheet. Please fill in the names of all runners in each race. As the runners cross the finish line they will receive a card with their place written on it. Please write placement of each runner next to their name on the score sheet and list your top 5 scorers in the box provided. Return the envelope with the score sheets and cards to Coach Hood before you leave.
I am attaching a map of the entrance, course, and team areas where teams may set up for the meet. ALL buses and spectators must park in the athletic parking lot (Agriculture center entrance from HWY 84).Our covered turf field will be available to set up under. However, NO TENTS are allowed on the turf or track. Feel free to set up tents in any of the surrounding grass areas.
There is no entry fee for spectators. There are many great viewing areas around the course, including the starting and finish line and from Trembling Earth Rec Complex.
The course is very simple and easy to follow. The course will be a 2 loop course. It is very simple and well marked. We will have the 1 mile and 2 mile marks posted. Please let me know if you have any questions.
