The Region 6-6A Championship will be held at Alpharetta High

School. 3595 Webb Bridge Rd. Alpharetta, GA 30005. If you any questions, please

All athlete's and Team tents will be on visitor side of the stadium. No competing athletes should be in the HOME STANDS!!! This is to prevent athletes from crossing the track on the Home Side. 

Events:

Field Event check-in will be at the event site. 

Running Event Check-in will be underneath the visitors stands on left side if facing the stands. 

All horizontal field events will be 3 attempts to the field

of athletes. The top 9 will move on to the final and receive an additional 3

attempts. The top 8 finishers will score points for their team. The top four

placers will move on to Sectionals Competition . 

All Horizontal & Vertical jumps events will take the top

4 and move on to Sectionals but will need to determine a 5^th place

finisher for alternates.

All running events are timed finals. Top 4 overall times in

each event regardless of heat they competed in will move on to Sectionals.

All distance events will be Dual Alley start with the break

line at the 1500M start line. 

Implement weigh-ins will take place at the lower ticket

booth starting at 4:00 PM 

Relays:

The 4x200 Will be a lane locked race the markings will be

1st & 2nd exchange Black Triangles, 3rd Exchange Gold Triangles. Start line

will be Solid Black line in lane past the open 400m Start in the

respective lane.

The 4x100 Will be Gold Triangles for their exchange

zone. 

The 4x400 Will be 3 turns staggered Start lines will be the

Blue start line in the respective lane and Blue triangles or the fist exchange

and green for the standard 4x400 exchange area after that. 

The 4x800 Will be staggered through the first curve and

athletes will break at the 1500 start line.
