Meet Information
Entries should be entered into MileSplit by 10pm on 03/17. On Wednesday, please plan to arrive as soon as possible so that we can begin events to end in a timely manner. Field events will begin at 5pm and the 3200m begins at 5:15pm.
Teams should plan to sit in the visitor's side bleachers. Athletes will be able to warm up in the area that is roped off on the field. If your athletes are not warming up, they should not be on the field. We are asking coaches to help with enforcing this to minimize traffic on the track and field.
Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:
Shot Put - Starr's Mill
Discus - Whitewater
Pole Vault - Starr's Mill
Long Jump/Triple Jump (Girls) - St. Mary's*
Long Jump/Triple Jump (Boys) - Sandy Creek*
High Jump (Boys/Girls) 2 pits - McIntosh/Fayette
*We are still waiting on attendance confirmation from Sandy Creek and St. Mary's. If these schools are not attending the meet, duties and responsibilities will be adjusted.
Payments ($125) are due on the day of the event. Checks should be made out to Finish Line Booster Club and can be given to Coach Frey, Coach Cheek, or Coach Rock at the coaches meeting. Coaches meeting is scheduled for 4:45 or as soon as all schools arrive.
Unlimited Entries on ga.milesplit.com with ptgrouponline.com timing company. Entry Fee is $125 made out to Finishline Booster Club.
Schedule:
4:30pm-5:00pm: Arrival
5:00pm: Boys Shot Put Girls Discus Boys/Girls High Jump Boys/Girls Long Jump and Boys and Girls Pole Vault. Triple jump will follow Long Jump on the same pit.
5:15pm:
3200m (one heat boys/girls together) 300m Hurdles
5:45pm:
4x100 Relay
400m (No Blocks)
