Some of the BEST teams in Georgia and Florida competing on the BORDER! 



The Valdosta High School's Track & Field facility has only been here for 5 years. It consists of an 8-lane track with a polyurethane surface. The shot put and discus circles are brushed concrete. Needle spikes (1/4") are recommended. If you use spikes, do not exceed 1/4" needle spikes.

The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 25th at 11:00pm.

The cost is $125 dollars for one team. The cost is $150 to bring both boys and girls teams. Teams with less than 10 athletes competing contact Coach Mobley for your payment terms. Individuals competing from school will be $20 per individual.

MEET NOTES:

1. ATHLETES IN RUNNING EVENTS WILL REPORT TO THE CLERK OF COURSE ON FIRST CALL

2. ATHLETES IN FIELD EVENTS SHOULD REPORT TO THE EVENT AREA ON FIRST CALL.

3. RUNNING EVENTS TAKE PRECEDENT OVER FIELD EVENTS.

4. ATHLETES WILL BE PLACED IN HEATS AT THE CLERK OF COURSE ACCORDING TO TIMES SUBMITTED. SLOWER TIMES WILL RUN IN THE FIRST HEATS.

5. ATHLETES IN RUNNING EVENTS NEED TO REMAIN ON THE TRACK AT THE END OF THEIR RACE UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE.

6. MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE FIRST THREE PLACES AND CAN BE PICKED UP THE SAME DAY

7. RESULTS WILL BE LIVE ON MILESPLIT

8. ALL ATHLETES SHOULD USE THE PRACTICE IN THE FIELD BEHIND THE TRACK CONCESSIONS TO WARM-UP AND STRETCH.

9. TEAM TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE FIRST THREE PLACES ACCORDING TO TEAM SCORING

10. SCORING WILL BE 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4- 3 - 2 - 1 FOR ALL EVENTS.

11. ALL FIELD EVENT ATHLETES WILL BE GIVEN THREE ATTEMPTS.

12. EACH SCHOOL MAY ENTER A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) COMPETITORS PER INDIVIDUAL EVENT. EACH SCHOOL CAN ENTER ONE (1) RELAY TEAM PER RELAY EVENT.
13. AN INDIVIDUAL CAN ENTER A MAXIMUM OF FOUR ( 4 ) EVENTS. 

14. ALL ENTRIES SUBMITTED MUST MEET GHSA ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.

15. ALL TIMES SUBMITTED FOR RUNNING EVENTS SHOULD BE FOR METERS AND SHOULD BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE SO LANE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE FAIR.

16. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED On-line BY March 25th, 2025 and 11:00pm.

17. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE THE DAY OF THE MEET.

18. ENTRY FEE IS $150.00 FOR BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS TEAMS OR $125.00 FOR ONE TEAM.

19. All DEVICES WILL BE WEIGHED.

4:30 pm - GIRLS LONG JUMP, HIGH JUMP, DISCUS & POLE VAULT - BOYS TRIPLE JUMP, & SHOT PUT

4:45 pm -3200 METER RUN ( G / B )

5:15 pm -GIRLS TRIPLE JUMP, & SHOT PUT - BOYS LONG JUMP, HIGH JUMP, DISCUS & POLE VAULT

5:45 pm - 300 METER HURDLES ( G / B )

6 pm (After all field events are completed) -

4 x 200 METER RELAY ( G / B )

4 X 100 THROWERS "BIG BOY" RELAY ( G / B ) ONE TEAM - no points. but awards will be given
