4:00 - Field Event Venues Open for Warm-Up
4:15 - Field Events Begin and roll as each gender concludes:
Girls Discus; Boys Shot Put and swap as each conclude
Girls Triple Jump; Boys Long Jump and swap as each conclude
Girls PV; Boys HJ and swap as each conclude
Assignments for FE: Rabun: Pole Vault (Commerce - Hardy & Rabun - Lester), Discus (Rabun - Van Winkle), Shot Put (Rabun - Oliver), and Long Jump (Rabun - Weldon & Courtney), High Jump (Rabun - Lampros/Whitworth),Triple Jump (Union County - Kelley). Slocumb - assist and push kids to assist
Assignments for the Track: Clerk* (Lester), Starter (Corbett), Announcer (Corbett), Hurdle/Block Crew (Van Winkle & Oliver), Keep tabs on our kids and keep them focused on events/warm-up etc. (Whitworth)
*We will only clerk non-lane races 800, 1600, 3200, 4 x 400, 4 x 800-all others report to the track at final call - Lester confirm Lane Assignments
As FE concludes at 5:30, whichever comes first - Running events order (girls, boys) - for organizational purposes, we will operate a clerk at mid-field for all non-lane races(4x8, 4x4, 8, 16, 32). Please advise your athletes to report to the clerk at first call for their event. After reporting, athletes may continue warming up on the field. All heats will report to the start line at final call; girls, then boys.
