GHSA 7A Region 6 Championship

Athlete Transportation

Due to the limited parking, All participating athletes will be required to ride the team bus(es) to and from the

park. The buses will stay on site and each participating team will be allocated parking spaces for coaches,

administrators, and handicapped spectators. All other spectators will be shuttled to and from the park from

Lambert High School.

Spectator Parking

Parking for the meet will be at Lambert High School, which is located just about two miles from the entrance of

the park. Beginning at 9:00 am, school buses will shuttle spectators to and from the park. Shuttles will continue

to run until the conclusion of the meet.

Tickets for parking can be pre-purchased through GoFan by either clicking on the

Only GHSA passes will be accepted for Region Championship events.

All monies collected are sent to the Region minus expenditures.

Timing

Timing and results will be handled by The Perfect Timing Group.

Entries

All entries should be entered via ga.milesplit by Tuesday, October 17th by 9:00 pm. Please ensure that only

runners listed on your Top 12 compete in the varsity race. Specific instructions will be sent out by our region

secretary.

Awards

The top 3 varsity teams and top 2 junior varsity teams will receive a trophy.

The top 14 varsity runners and the top 10 junior varsity will be recognized and receive medals.

Qualifying for State

The top 4 varsity teams and any varsity athlete in the top 6 individually, regardless of team finish will qualify for

state.

T-Shirts

Will be available and handled by Georgia Promotions.

Course Map

Scroll down to the last page. The course is basically 3 loops. The athletes will run clockwise through the first loop

and counterclockwise the 2nd and 3rd loop. It should be very spectator-friendly.

Other

No pets are allowed at the meet for runners and spectator safety!
