Meet Information
Come race on Georgia's newest cross country course right in the heart of Athens at the 50 acre Piedmont Preserve. This dedicated course is a great mix of flat meadows, creek side trails and wooded hillside. 1k, 2k, and 3k loops make for a great spectator experience.
We'll start with a 2k combined gender, 8 and under. Boys/Girls results will be separated. (The age control date is 12/31/23, so they must still be 8 by the end of this year.) then boys 9 years -middle school 3k, followed by girls 9 years - middle school. If numbers merit, we may split this race.
9-10 year olds will run in the same race as middle school, but results will be separated out. The age control date is 12/31/23, so they must still be 10 by the end of this year. Athletes can age-up, but not down. If you need your younger kids to complete your middle school team, please let me know. Milesplit has stopped supporting age-group races, so please email names/ DOB for anyone who will compete in the 9-10 division.
5:00 pm: 8U 2k-combined genders
5:20 pm: Boys 9 years - Middle school 3k
5:50 pm: Girls 9 years - Middle school 3k
Awards for top 5 individuals in 8U and 9-10 divisions, top 10 in MS division, no team awards
Cost is just be a $40/gender (both 2k and 3k) for a max of $80/organization or $5/athlete
$10/unattached runner.
$5 Parking for spectators-parking is limited, please carpool, bike or walk to the event, if possible.
