GRPA District 7 Class A Championships 2023

GRPA District VII Championship:

Age Groups: 6-8, 910, 1112, 1314 (age control date 12/31/23)

Awards: Awards for the top three finishers.

Entry: Due by Wednesday, April 19 at midnight. Limit 3 entries per team per event/gender/age group. Athletes may enter 2 individual running and 1 field event or 2 field and 1 individual running plus relays for a maximum of 3 individual events plus relays.

State Qualification: Top three individuals in each event/gender/age group will qualify for the GRPA State

Age Verification: Must be completed prior to participation. We will schedule rosters remotely, if approved or review on-site.

Heats & Flights: Drawn after entry deadline. Age groups may be combined results will be separated.

Field Events report to event area, all running events report to bullpen.

Mandatory Coaches Meeting at 9:00 am

Field Event Competition Starts at 9:30 am.

Warm-ups from 8:45 am 9:25 am & 15 minutes prior to Session 2 Events.

Field Session 2:

Standing LJ (6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14) boys then girls

Shot put (6 lb, 9-10, 11-14 ) both genders compete at the same time

Turbo Javelin (300g 12 & under, 600g 13-14)

11:00 am Running Events: Will begin at 11:00 am or at the completion of field events, whichever comes first and will be on a rolling schedule, youngest to oldest. Athletes should leave field event and report to running event when called. Return to field event within 10 minutes of completing running event to complete attempts.
