2 heats = Top 2 + next 4 fastest times
3 heats = Top 2 + next 2 fastest times

4 events per athlete (any combination)
3 entries per event per school
1 relay per school
No prelims if the event has 8 or less runners
Opening heights: determined by entries - must allow for at least 9 to clear
Top 4 at REGION go to sectionals (mark #5-6 alternates)
Video: Timers video allowed for Appeals Committee to review if necessary (NO other video considered)

Field Events Finals - A clear 5th and 6th place finisher must be confirmed.
If a competitor is in two field events or a running event and FE at the same time, they MUST report to both and let the official know what events they are in. HJ and PV take precedence, BUT the athlete MUST get at least one attempt during the prelims of LJ, TJ, Shot, or Disc so the other athletes do not have to wait on them.
Advancement to FE finals: 3 prelim marks, then top 9 to finals for 3 more attempts
