Three Rivers Cross Country Classic
Date: Wednesday, October 18th
Location: Jeff Davis MS (3 Loop Course)
Race Times: Updated Race Times
- Senior Spotlight Parade - 4:15pm (All Seniors - All Schools: We will line seniors up by school on the track and do a short walk down the track and recognize all the seniors at the meet. Really informally just wanted to spotlight our seniors quickly before the races. We'll take pictures of each senior group and I will share those pictures with you after the race. )
- JV Combined - 4:30pm (Unlimited Entries, race is for runners not in you Top 10, 8th Graders, or any runner that is significantly slower that will slow down the meet if they run in one of the Varsity Races)
- HS Boys 5K - 5:10pm (Entries limited to 10 - Faster than 25 minutes. Runners slower than 25 minutes should be entered in the JV race)
- HS Girls 5k - 5:40pm (Entries limited to 10 - Faster than 30 minutes. Runners slower than 30 minutes should be entered in the JV Race)
Cost: NO Charge , see timing below.
Entries: Entries should be entered on Georgia MileSplit by the deadline. Entries are limited to 10 each for both boys and girls in the varsity race. Unlimited entries for the JV race. 8th graders may be entered in the JV race and any runners that do not meet the time standard should be entered in the JV race.
Awards: No medals or trophies will be given.
Timing: Coaches will be responsible for timing their own kids. Time sheet should be turned in at the conclusion of the meet to Coach Wood, who will submit times to Georgia MileSplit.
Course Description: 3 Loop Course (Mile Markers within easy walking distance of each other). Flat and Fast. Wide Turns. Mixture of grass and hard packed dirt. Will be measured as a full 5000m. Layout and running surface should produce some season best times going into the championship portion of the season.
