Meet Information
We will host the 2022 Region Championships at Clinton Farms on October 22, 2022. Parking for all spectators will be $5 I will send out a QR code for prepaid parking sometime in the next week. Buses will turn right into the second entrance once they enter the park. Cars will turn right into the first entrance into the park. If the spectators use the QR code they will show the parking crew a receipt on their phone. This will help speed up the process.
Here is the QR code for parking. Please give to your parents OR have them go to the Region 5 AAAAA Website OR click the link for the QR code. (3 options for you)
Races will go as follows:
Varsity Girls 9:00 am top 7
Varsity Boys 9:30 am top 7
JV Girls/JV Boys 10:00am unlimited
Awards- Medals go to the top 10 per race per gender
Trophies are awarded to the top 2 teams in the Varsity Races only
STATE MEET INFO:
The top 6 kids in the Varsity races and top 4 teams will advance to the State Championships on November 5. The races at State are as follows: 5AAAAA November 5, Boys - 2:00 pm, Girls - 2:45pm.
Between now and the Region meet you will need to make sure to update your roster on gaMileSplit ang GHSA and pick your top 12 kids. Also: As coaches prepare for Region Cross Country Meets, I would like to make certain that schools are aware of the requirement to list their maximum of 12 athletes on the meet specific link shared by their Region Secretary along with a meet specific password. Entries will be made on MileSplit, and will not be required on GHSA MIS. Remember, a maximum of 12 athletes may be listed, but only 5, 6 or 7 may run for the team. The meets will follow the same rules as outlined in the Constitution and By-laws which may be found here: GHSA Constitution.

Also, please make spectators aware of the $10 price of tickets sold on GoFan.
