We hope that your seasons are going well. The Isis City Classic is only one week away. We are excited about this year's event. Most of you know that Griffin-Spalding County was hit hard by the tornadoes months ago. Our track and field facilities were damaged and will not be ready for us to host this meet at our usual location. The meet will now be hosted at Spalding High School 433 Wilson Road, Griffin GA. Spalding Hs is only 5 miles away. Please communicate this with your administration and parents. We are expecting a high level meet and a great experience for everyone. We will have grilled burgers, grilled hotdogs and more in our concession stands. Good luck to you all! We are looking forward to seeing you.

Iris City Classic Hosted by Griffin High School at Spalding High School

This will be a Middle School and High School Meet. We will have First Call Timing providing live results and we will have ribbons and 1st and 2nd place trophies for both boys and girls teams. There will be a 3 athlete limit per event for middle and 4 athlete limit for high school divisions. There will be a 2 relay limit for both Middle and High School. The fee for this meet will be $100 for one team and $175 for both boys and girls teams.

8:30am Coaches Meeting 

All events will proceed with Girls then Boys. Middle School then High School.

9:00 AM 3200m Girls Middle School then High School.

1600m Boys Middle School then High School.

9:30 AM Field Events (3 throws/3 jumps)

Middle School: Boys Shot Put, Girls Discus 

High School: Girls Discus, Boys Shot Put

High School: Girls Long Jump, Boys Triple Jump

Scoring/Awards: -10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1 (unless the number of teams dictates otherwise)-Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each event-Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams-All races will be run as final by times.
