Meet Information
Race Location: 3960 Poplar Springs Rd., Ringgold, GA 30736
Parking: Buses will be directed to park in the horseshoe directly in front of the school. Tents can be set up there. This is right in the middle between restrooms and the start/finish. Vehicle parking will be $5/car. Beyond a certain time, the entrance on Poplar Springs Road will be closed, and all vehicles will have to enter the Post Oak Road entrance. Signs and volunteers will be posted to aid you in this.
Course: The XC course at Heritage High School is extremely spectator-friendly. Parents and coaches can see their runners at least five times throughout the race, with little to no walking. Mile and meter markers are provided and coaches' timing areas are easily accessible and within walking distance of one another. Timing Company: Carpet Capital Running Club will be timing the event. To cover the cost of that, we are asking each team to chip in (pun intended) $100 for the three races. Checks can be made out to HHS XC Boosters. You can wait until the day of the meet to bring that if you wish.
Races: We apologize that this meet has to be on a Wednesday, but it was the only day of the week that coincided for the school and the timing company to host. Our school has early dismissal this day, allowing us to start earlier to make it easier for a return trip on the schools traveling the greatest distance.
Boys Varsity: 4:00 p.m.
Girls Varsity: 4:30 p.m.
Combined JV: 5:10 p.m.
Awards to follow: Top 10 individuals in each race will receive medals and top 2 teams will receive awards.
