The Timer of your meet does not need you to declare your Top 7 runners and your 5 Alternates separately. Please register your Full Roster of up to 12 athletes (Top 7 + Alternates) in the Varsity event.

Time:
- 8:30 am......Course Open for Preview
- 10:00 am......Coaches Meeting
- 10:30 am......Boys Race
- 11:15 am......Girls race
- 12:00pm......Awards Presentation
Entry: Entries should also uploaded into Georgia MileSplit by October 21st, 2022 at midnight. No additions or changes to your 12 person roster may be made after this date/time.
Teams: A varsity team shall consist of at least five and no more than seven athletes. They should be listed in the MileSplit registration page. You list a total of 12 participants on your roster. You may select any 7 of the 12 to race on meet day.
Scratches: A coaches scratch meeting will be held at 10:00 am. This meeting will take place at the registration tent near the starting line. At the meeting you will declare you 7 runners that will be participating in the race.
Awards: The top two teams will receive trophies and the top six individuals will receive medals.
State Advancement: The top four teams and the top six individuals will advance to the state meet.
Course: The 5000m course starts in the open area adjacent to the Uvalda Boat Landing site in Towns Bluff Park. The course is a 1 mile loop that will be completed three times plus a finish line loop that breaks off from the primary loop to complete the course. The course is relatively flat but there are 2 short but challenging hills on the loop. The course is a mixture of grass, hard packed sand, some clay areas (can be slick and muddy if wet), and a 120m boardwalk. Due to possible flooding at the designated river course, Jeff Davis will provide a backup course at the school if needed. Course Map Link
Misc: Restrooms are available at the course. Athletes should come dressed to run.
