This meet will carry out the late Coach Bill Woods's vision for a North Georgia middle school championship race. Coach Woods was a passionate cross country and track coach from Franklin County, and this meet is done to commemorate his legacy and impact on the running community in northeast Georgia. It will be an excellent opportunity for schools in the area to compete against each other as well as provide a "tune up" before the middle school state meet held in Cochran, GA.
