Clayton County HS Track and Field Championships 2022

The Clayton County Championship will be complete in a two day format. On Thursday all of the field events will be completed as finals. Everything will be completed in a four attempt final except high and pole vault. Select running will happen on Thursday. All other running will take place on Friday. The start time on both days will be 4:45 pm. 

Thursday order of events:

4:45 pm  300 hurdles (boys and girls)

5:00 pm 4x800 (boys and girls)

5:30 pm 1600 (boys only)

6:00 pm 3200 (girls only)

5:00 pm first session of field events: boys long, girls triple, boys high, girls pole, boys shot, girls discus

6:00 pm second session of field events: girls long, boys triple, girls high, boys pole, girls shot, boys discus

Field event responsibility are as follows. Please bring a tape measure to contest your assigned event. Long jump (Lovejoy and Morrow), triple jump (Elite Scholars and Riverdale), high jump (Jonesboro), Shot (North Clayton and Forest Park), Discus (Mundy's Mill and Charles Drew), Pole Vault (Mount Zion)

Each school will be responsible for the set up and take down for one set of hurdles. Elite Scholar hurdle one, Morrow hurdle two, Riverdale hurdle three, North Clayton hurdle 4, Jonesboro hurdle 5,  Mount Zion hurdle 6,  Lovejoy hurdle 7, Forest Park hurdle 8, Mundy's Mill hurdle 9, Drew hurdle 10.  Exchange zone will be as follows, Mount Zion zone 1, Morrow  zone 2, Jonesboro zone 3.

100/110 Meter Hurdles (girls/boys)
