Meet Information

  The Baldwin High School track and field teams would like to invite you to the 6th Annual Anderson Bentley Jr. Invitational. Coach Bentley has been coaching for over forty eight years. He has coached several state champions and have had a number of athletes compete on the collegiate level. Due to its location Baldwin county is a two hour ride from anywhere in the state. There is a three limit entry per event. Trophies will be awarded to top 2 teams, medals to the top three in each event, and a high point trophy for the female and male with the most points. Concessions will be provided and four coaches per team will be provided dinner from our concession stand. This meet is to honor coach Anderson Bentley, who has coached for forty eight years at Baldwin High School.Coach Bentley  is currently the assistant girls coach and has recently mentioned retirement, we would like to show him how much he has meant to the program by hosting this meet.

MEET WILL BE CAPPED AT EIGHT VISITING SCHOOLS!

GHSA SANCTIONED MEET

$100 for single gender team. $150 for both girls and boys team. Each team will be allowed five entries per event and two relay teams, however each athlete is limited to four(4) events. Since we are down a jumping pit this year athletes will only get two attempts for long and triple jump. Pole WILL NOT be contested this year. We are following the new GHSA rules, however we are allowing an extra relay team.
Teams are required to remain off the infield or stands during the running events.
We will be scoring 8 places.
Team Trophies will be presented at conclusion of the meet for top 2 teams.
Individual awards (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place) will be presented during the meet.
High point girls and boys trophies will be awarded.
