2022 Carrollton Invitational
Carrollton Invitational will be held on Saturday, March 12 2022 at Carrollton High School, Grisham Stadium...Home of the State Track for 6A, 4A & the Wheelchair Events. Any questions e-mail Meet Director at jimmy.sorrells@carrolltoncityschools.net. Perfect timing group will be in charge of timing.

Entry Fee: $150.00 per gender of $275.00 for boys and girls

Coaches Information

Sanction: Meet is sanctioned in Georgia (other states upon request: email: jimmy.sorrells@carrolltoncityschools.net)
Admission: $5.00 per spectator, spectators will enter stadium in the gate between the fieldhouse and the gym.
Athletes and Coaches Gate: Athletes and Coaches will enter at gate behind the Visitor's side of the Stadium
Bus Parking: Behind visitor stands only...Overflow parking for buses will be in the tennis court parking lot
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Awards: Trophies: 1st and 2nd place boys and girls teams
Medals: 1st -3rd place, including relays
Only Coaches may pick up bags with all medals at the conclusion of the Meet
Event Limitations: Individual events: 3 athletes per event
Relays: 1 relay teams per event
Outstanding Male Athlete-High Point Scorer
Outstanding Female Athlete-High Point Scorer
One athlete may compete in 4 events (per GHSA rules)

- *Girls' Long Jump followed by Boys' Long Jump (3 total jumps)
- *Boys' Triple Jump follwed by Girls' Triple Jump (3 total jumps)
- Girls' High Jump followed by Boys. (Opening Height Girls' 4" 6". Boys 5' 8")
- Boys' Pole Vault followed by Girls (Opening Height Boys' 7" 0", Boys' 9' 6")
- Girls' Shot followed by Boys (3 throws)
- Boys' Discus followed by Girls (3 throws)
10:00 a.m. 1600 meter
- 1600 meter run (slow heats, girls then boys)
12:00 p.m. Running Events (Girls Followed by Boys)
- 4 X 800 meter relays; dual-alley star
- 100 meter/110meter Hurdles
- 100 meter Dash
- 4 X 200 meter relays (heats slow to fast, girls then boys)
- 1600 meter run (fast heats, girls then boys)
- 4 x 100 meter relays (heats slow to fast, girls then boys)
- 400 meter dash (heats slow to fast, girls then boys)
- 800 meters run (heats slow to fast, girls then boys one-turn stagger)
- 200 meters dash (heats slow to fast, girls then boys)
