Course description:

Youth Race:  It is an approximately one mile run that is relatively flat over mostly grass with some asphalt.

Middle School Race: This is a shorter course than what Perimeter has had in the past.   We are going to cut the course down to 2.0 miles to make it more standardized with other MS cross country meets/courses.   It does have steep hills in the woods early on in the course, so runners should be prepared.   The rest of the course is tentatively planned to circle the Perimeter Church complex of buildings (which is quite large).   Once the runners are out of the woods, the remainder of the course is quite flat, open with good footing in fields that are well cut.   They will have to run on asphalt a few hundred meters in our parking lot in order to transfer from one field to another, so spikes are not suggested, but of course ultimately, it is a coaches' judgement call.   Both the start and finish will be on the baseball field, which is near the Old Alabama road entrance.   A map will be generated and emailed to participating coaches upon request.  Just email Coach Binford.
