Thank you for registering for our 2nd Annual Bill Thorn Invitational. Coach Thorn is a living legend and one of the most decorated coaches in GHSA history. We are excited to welcome you to our brand new resurfaced track. We are expecting a fast and efficient meet. This year we will offer three levels of competition. There will be High School Varsity, High School Junior Varsity, and Middle School competitions.

Individual entry limits:

Individuals may enter 4 events max. Each team will be allowed three individual entries per event. However, you are allowed to enter 3 additional athletes in the JV division. You will be allowed 1 Varsity and 1 Junior Varsity relay team. We will permit 2 Middle School relay teams.

Payment Information:

The cost is $200 for boys and girls high school teams and $100 for boys and girls middle school teams. The cost is $275 for both teams. The $200 covers both Varsity and Junior Varsity entry. Registration will be limited to 15 teams.

Tentative Schedule

Coaches meeting: 8:30 AM near the back of the cafeteria above the track.

9:00 AM FIELD EVENTS: (Participants should report to their respective competition areas.) (3 trials each in Discus Throw, Pole Vault, High Jump, Shot Put)

10:00 AM - Long Jump & Triple Jump

RUNNING EVENTS: The order of all running event will be girls followed by boys.

9:30 AM - 3200M

11:00 AM - 4X200 Meter Relay

11:30 AM - 4X800 Meter Relay

12:00 PM - 100 Meter Hurdles /110 Meter Hurdles

12:25pm - 100m

1:00 PM - Special Presentation
