Meet Information
The 28th Annual Yellow Jacket Invitational will be held at Thomas County Central Middle School, 4681 US Hwy 84 Bypass, Thomasville, GA. The meet will be hosted on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 for Varsity boys and girls as well as middle school boys and girls.
Meet Details
Please arrive at the school NO EARLIER than 3:45, or you will encounter a lot of after school/dismissal traffic.
Team packets may be picked up at the scorer's table upon your team's arrival to the meet.
There will be a parking fee of $5 per car.
There will be concessions and Kona Ice, so please let your runners/parents know.
Meet Schedule
Coaches Meeting- 4:30 pm
Varsity Girls- 5:00 pm
Varsity Boys- 5:45 pm
Middle School Boys & Girls- 6:30 pm
Payment
Entry fees are $60 for Varsity girls and $60 for Varsity boys. If both teams are entered, the fee will be reduced to $100. Middle schoolers will run for free if a varsity team is also entered. If there is not a varsity team entered, the fee for a middle school team will be $30. If there are not enough varsity runners for a full team, payment will be $10 per runner. Entry deadline will be Tuesday, August 31st, 2021. Make all checks payable to TCCHS Cross Country and turn them in on the day of the meet.
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each varsity race. Medals will be given to the top 10 individual runners of each race. Medals will be given to the top 5 individual runners for middle school boys and middle school girls.
