Meet Information

Bulloch Academy will host the Region 2-AAA Cross Country Championship on the Bulloch Academy Campus. We are looking forward to a great event with a great course! The course is runner and spectator friendly, with mile markers close to one another for easy access for coaches!



Date: Monday, October 21, 2019

Registration: Please Register on MileSplit by Thursday, October 11th @ 9:00pm.

We will run AAA boys and then AAA Girls.



3:00- Course Open

3:45- Coaches Meeting

4:00- 2AAA Girls

4:30- 2AAA Boys

5:15- Awards

The course will start

and finish on our Baseball Field. Please park at the back of our student

parking area and walk to the baseball stadium. There are bleachers and a

bathroom at the field. Tents may be set up outside of the fence.



Things to know as you prepare your athletes for the meet!

1) We will follow The National Federation of High School Rules (NFHS) of Track and Field is the official guide for GISA Cross Country meets.

2) The Cross Country course will be 3.1 miles (5k) in distance for boys and girls at the varsity level of competition.

3) A boy's team will consist of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) boys. A girl's team will consist of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) girls. However, if a school does not have a team, it may enter less than five members in the individual division of the meet. No school shall enter more than seven (7) participants in the region or state meet. Three (3) alternates may be listed on the entrance forms. 4) Cross Country rules governing uniforms must be observed according to NFHS.

5) The top four (4) Teams and any individual that finishes in the top ten (10) at the Region Meet will qualify for the State Meet.

6) Awards will be given to the top ten (10) Individual Runners in each race, and the top two (2) teams will be presented with the appropriate trophy. We will also name the Region Coach of the Year as well.
