This meet is becoming a great tradition to kick off your season! Thank you so much to the teams who have already committed to showing up. This will be our 6th installment of the Distance Kickoff with FleetFeet-Decatur joining us for the second year in a row; let's make the 6th one the best ever.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a $5 gate entrance fee for adult spectators and a $1 entrance fee for students not on the participating track team. No family will be charged more than $10.
Entries:ENTRIES CLOSE at 10:00PM WEDNESDAY, 2/12!
We will offer unlimited entries per event; however, it is necessary that all GHSA guidelines are followed. Since this is a meet with no field events and two official relays, entry limits per athlete will be two open events and the two relays.
Rules:All GHSA Track & Field rules will be enforced.
Seeding:VERY IMPORTANT. Due to the nature of this meet (for most, the first meet of the season), we will allow coaches to submit seed times based on their professional opinion of the athlete's skill. It is crucial that this is done with accuracy to protect the integrity of this meet as the heats will be developed based upon submitted seed times.
Timing:FAT Timing will be done by The Perfect Timing Group.
Cost:$100 for one gender or $150 for both guys and girls.
NOTE: If you have a smaller squad, we'll charge $20 per athlete. Example: You have 3 guys competing. Bring/mail a check for $60. You have 4 guys and 2 girls competing, bring a check for $120. No single gender team will be charged more than $100, and no complete team will be charged more than $150.

Awards:Top 3 teams (per gender) will be given team trophies. The top 3 individuals per event will receive custom spike trophies which have become a popular tradition at our meet.
Coaches' Hospitality: Dinnerwill be hot and ready for service by 6:00pm in the press box. Staying with the 'distance' tradition, all coaches will be treated to a homemade Italian pasta style dinner with bread and salad courtesy of our great cross country team parents.
Concessions:A wide variety of concessions will be available for purchase, so come hungry!
Merchandise:In addition to a meet-specific shirt, Fleet Feet Decatur will be out in full force selling exclusive products ranging from clothing to footwear. Please be sure to visit their tent near the track for some great deals on their products.
Schedule of Events (rolling schedule):
5:15pm -- Coaches' Meeting -- 2nd floor of the press box
6:00pm - Heats to be run from slowest to fastest per event -- girls followed by boys.

Team Awards to immediately follow the conclusion of the 4x400m. Final heat should be off the track just after 10:00pm with awards no later than 10:30pm. It's a late one, but it'll be awesome!!! See you guys there.
