2020 MEET SCHEDULE

EARLY SESSION(9-2:30) Varsity field events, JV running events, and varsity 1600 (girls followed by boys)

LATE SESSION (2:30-7:30) JV Field, varsity running (girls followed by boys)

Weather permitting if we run ahead, we will not start more than 15 minutes ahead of schedule

Time changes will be adjusted according to weather, with announcements made.

Awards will be given out after the field event is completed or running final please instruct athletes to move to the awards stand from the finals. Weather permitting.

* Split 3200s if over 30 runners

ATHLETES ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO RUN JV OR VARSITY NOT BOTH

VERIFIED ENTRIES ONLY-COACHES SHOULD MANUALLY ENTER TIMES FOR ALL B RELAY AND JV RELAY TIMES.

TENTATIVE QUALIFYING DETERMINED BY NUMBER OF HEATS

800 meters we will take 10 to the final---1600 and 3200 will be run as finals 3200-meter relay will be run as a final FIELD EVENTS Every contestant in the shot, discus, long jump and triple jump will be given 3 attempts with the top 9 qualifying for the finals.

Pole Vault will go up 6"High Jump 2"

COACHING- coaching or encouraging athletes during running events and field events must be done from outside the track or designated coaching area.

INFIELD-No warm up should take place inside the field. There is a warm up track at the middle school or you may use the practice football field for warm ups. The track is off limits as the field events are being contested. Coaches--please help by keeping your athletes and managers in the stands when not competing.

NO TENTS IN HOME STANDS-tents may be set up against the fence on the concession level use visitor stands or inside edge of practice field

Athletic Trainers- will be on hand for all sessions.Please bring tape if your athletes need taping by our athletic trainers

FACILITIES-The track at Mill Creek is an all-weather track.

No Chalk relay marks, tape only

1/4 inch pyramid spikes only on the track, horizontal and vertical jumping areas.

Mondo surface on Horizontal jumps, Mondo on one vault runway and latex on the second

The throwing pads are concrete.

There will not be a dressing area at the stadium.

PARKINGTeams unload in baseball/softball parking lot and then park at middle school.

ENTRY FEE $180.00 per school. This money will be used to pay for the awards! Make checks out to Mill Creek Track and Field Booster Club

GATE FEE $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.

CONCESSIONS-There will be a full concession area provided.

HOSPITALITY Room will be in the field house. No athletes allowed in that facility. COACHES/OFFICIALS ONLY PROTESTS-protests or complaints must be directed to the Meet Director in writing. The Jury of Appeals will make all rule interpretations.

National Federation and GHSA rules will apply, Coaches please make sure your uniforms comply. Electronics cannot be used inside the competition area with the exception of designated areas for filming.

RELAYS-When entering on line you should list 6 runners---any those 6 may run on that relay

T-SHIRTS Will be sold both days by Georgia Promotions

CLERK OF COURSE-Athletes must check in and stay with the clerk of course by 2nd call. Failure to check in and follow clerk's instructions will result in disqualification.
