CONCESSIONS: Concession stand will be open and serving throughout the day.
Meet Divisions: Division II Varsity Girls and Boys
Entry limitations: Each school may enter three contestants in each event except relays; each school may enter two teams in each relay. An individual may be in three track events and one field event, two track events and two field events, OR one track event and three field events.
Athletes - An Athlete may enter in both relays and no more than 4 individual events.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
9:50 AM - Opening Ceremonies:
All teams should congregate in the center of the field.
10:00 AM - Session One:
3200 meter Run
Girls High Jump
Girls Shot Put
Boys Long Jump
Girls Long Jump
Boys High Jump
Boys Shot Put
Girls Triple Jump
Boys Triple Jump
Running Events in this order:
100m girls hurdles
110m boys hurdles
10 minute break
10 min break
Awards: Top 3 finishers in each event, Top individual points Girls & Boys finisher, Top 2 Teams Girls & Boys.
Qualifiers: The top 8 finishers in each event that have met the minimum standards for that event will advance to the State Finals Meet. GICAA will notify all coaches of the athletes advancing after all region meets have been completed.
Events: Running, Relays, Throws & Jumps.
Track: Polyurethane/ 8 Lanes
REMINDER: Since this meet is the regional state qualifier, GICAA uniform policies will be enforced: NO jewelry (except for medical alerts), no hats/visors, no sunglasses (unless they're prescription). Ladies' hair accessories must either be uniform or neutral colors.
Also, uniforms worn by relay team members must match.
