Registration Deadline: October 22, 2016
Time:
4:00 p.m.......Coach's meeting
4:30 p.m......Girl's Race
5:30 p.m...Boys Race
6:30 p.m.......Awards Presentation
Entry: Only eligible high school athletes may participate. Coaches should send names of all possible participants on the GHSA entry form to be received by Friday, October 21, 2016. No additions may be made after this date.
Teams: A varsity team shall consist of at least five and no more than seven athletes. They should be listed on the entry form. If they are not on the entry form that is sent in, they are ineligible to run. NO ADDITIONS MAY BE MADE THE DAY OF THE RACE!!
Scoring: The top five finishers from each team will score points toward the team total. If a team does not have at least five finishers, that team's participants will be deleted before team scores are totaled.
Scratches: A coach's scratch meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. This meeting will take place at the registration table near the starting line.
Athletes should come dressed to run. Team must run in school uniforms
Awards:
Trophies will be presented to the region champion and runner up.
Medals will be presented to the top six (6) participants
Spectators/Bus Parking: Team buses should park at gym parking lot. Signs will be posted and there will be individuals directing traffic
Tents: Team Tents can be set up anywhere near the start/finish area. Trash bags will be available at packet pick up.
