Meet Information
Race Info:
The race is located at Osbourne Park in Euharlee, Ga. It will consist of a girl's and boy's varsity and JV race. Please put your fastest 7 runners in the varsity race even if you don't have enough to make a team. We will be running across the historic Covered Bridge, so NO SPIKES ALLOWED at the request of the Euharlee Historical Society. Also, if you are entering as a club team, your uniforms must match!
Schedule:
8:30 a.m. - Coach's meeting at the finish line
9:00 a.m. - Boys Varsity
9:30 a.m. (or as soon as course is cleared) - Girl's Varsity
10:00 a.m. (or as soon as course is cleared) - Boy's JV
10:40 a.m. (or as soon as course is cleared) - Girl's JV
*Awards will be held as soon as results are tallied
Awards:
Team awards will be given to the top 3 varsity middle school teams and top 2 JV middle school teams. We will also give separate team awards to club teams. The top 2 club teams will receive awards. Individual medals will be given to the top 20 varsity runners and the top 10 JV runners. Top male and female varsity runner will receive trophy and free T-shirt from Vision Graphics.
Payment Info:
Entry fees will be $1 per runner up to $35 per school (boys and girls/varsity and JV inclusive). Registration/payment due by September 5th. Make checks payable to WMSE CROSS COUNTRY. Payment should be mailed to the attention of Sherry Spinks at Euharlee Elementary School, 1058 Euharlee Rd., Kinston, GA 30145.
Parking:
Please park at Woodland Middle School and walk through park to the start line. There is limited parking at Osbourne Park.
Concessions:
Concessions will be available through local vendors and WMSE Booster Club. Vision Graphics will be selling T-shirts and Athlete's Locker will be there with samples of shoes/spikes.
