Area Meet Time Schedule: Class 1A
(No running events will start before the conclusion of the field events. The running schedule will be modified if necessary due to the timing of the field events finish. All running events will be in the order: Private School Girls, Private School Boys

9:15 a.m. Coaches Meeting in the Lobby of the MAC gymnasium. We will have signs posted to direct you to this area. It will be the building located beside the track, adjacent to the parking lot.
9:00am-9:45am-Implement check in/weighing. This will take place in the weight room in the back of the MAC gymnasium. There will be signs directing the athletes to this area. All implements that are approved will receive a special mark for it to be allowed in competition. All other implements will be kept by the field judge and will be returned to the proper school after the completion of field events. Any competitor may use any approved implement.
FIELD EVENTS: Three attempts will be allowed for all competitors. After three attempts, the top 8 competitors will be given two additional attempts(with the exception of pole vault and high jump). Pole Vault and high jump will only be given 3 attempts at each height. Top 4 finishers advance to Sectionals (jumps, vaults, and throws).

RUNNING EVENTS: (Running schedule may be adjusted, if needed, by Games Committee)
1:30 p.m. 400 Meter Relay (2 Heats each girls/boys)
1:50 p.m. 1600m Run (One heat of girls followed by one heat of boys)
2:15pm 400 Meter Dash (2 Heats each girls/boys)
2:35 p.m. 100 Meter Dash (2 Heats each girls/boys)
2:55 p.m. 100 Meter / 110 Meter Hurdles (2 Heats each girls/boys)
3:30 p.m. 800 Meter Run (2 Heats each girls/boys)
4:00 p.m. 200 Meter Dash (2 Heats each girls/boys)
4:30 p.m. 300 Meter Hurdles (2 Heats each girls/boys)
5:15 p.m. (or approx.. 20 minutes after completion of 300m hurdles) 1600 Meter Relay (2 Heats each girls/boys)
We will try to keep the meet running on time. Please note that this schedule is slightly different than the original schedule we had previously sent.
Awards will follow as soon as all results are finalized. We would like all teams to stay for the awards presentation.
