What's your most memorable race or race you're most proud of?
My most memorable race is New Balance Nationals Indoor 2026 and happens to be my most proud race as well. I raced and won the championship 2 mile in my heat by sticking to my race plan and crushing my time goal of sub 11 with a 10:52!! I just remember the beaming smile on my face the whole flight back for days on end.
What is your favorite meet in cross country season and why?
My favorite meet in cross country season was ASICS because it is a super fast course and I had amazing memories of crossing the finish line crushing my PR.
What has been your biggest challenge in high school or what has been the hardest obstacle to overcome?
The hardest obstacle I had to overcome was the mental battle of telling myself that I cant and switching it to I can. This was a struggle for me during the beginning of my cross county season but as I worked on my confidence it became easier to believe in myself, because of this I found more success in my races!
What is your daily/weekly mileage like?
I run 65-70 miles a week!

The biggest part of training that has helped me the most is always giving it my all everyday and keeping the quote of, "consistency beats motivation everytime".

Without a doubt mile repeats on the track or a tempo long run
What is your least favorite or hardest workout?
My least favorite workout is 600 repeats at 1600 pace

All of my running gifts and abilities are from Jesus Christ and I thank him every day for how much he has blessed me! I could not be where I am today without his strength.

I look up to Mary Nesmith because she is always so supportive of everyone at race and so humble with her amazing skills and abilities!
What gets you pumped up for a workout or race?
What gets me pumped up for a race is when I see my teammates at our tent and friends from other teams being able to talk and hype each other up! I also get pumped up with our team pasta parties to get fueled up with carbs the night before!

My favorite food is without a doubt cottage cheese..... I know they call me crazy but it's amazing it can go on anything. Don't judge it until you try it. Haha!
My favorite song changes from month to month but I have been loving all the music from the artist Malcom Todd and more specifically his songs "Mr. Incorrect" and "Hot In NY".
My favorite movie is Elf because I absolutely love Christmas.
My favorite TV show is Dance Moms.
What will you miss the most about high school?
I will miss my cross country team the most because my day always gets 10x better when I see them. They are the sweetest most genuine people you will ever meet. I want to give a shoutout to Owen Gaines for always listening to my endless talking on runs and never complaining.
What advice would you give your younger self?
If I could go back and tell my younger self something I would say to always believe that you can do hard things when it comes to anything in life. Running has especially taught me this with certain races and workouts that looked so hard at first but then I was able to overcome the mental battle I knew I could do hard things!
