1600 Meter Run Final (AAAA)- This race has 5 girls that have gone 5:10 and under including top of the charts Senior Anna Bowles at 4:59.61. The group chasing her will include Allie Schaich of Lambert (5:06.89) who beat her at the Coaches Invitational in 2010, old rival Meghan Wetterhall of Lakeside-DeKalb (5:08.33), Greciana Cooper of SW DeKalb (5:10.77) and younger sis' Sarah Bowles (5:11.73)
1600 Meter Run Final (AAAAA)- This should be another intense race featuring top 5A runner Brooke Koblitz of Centennial with a season pr of 4:59.72, Rachel Thorne of Alpharetta (5:01.84), Brookwood's Caroline Kissell (5:07.78c) and Morgan Jackson of North Cobb (5:09.90)
3200 Meter Run Final (A)- This is going to be a duel between GHSA newcomer Grace Tinkey of FPD (11:00) and Lindy Long of Landmark Christian (11:20.34) Due to the toughness of region 5 alot of gals are sitting at home in this one providing ACS an opportunity to get big points from Mackenzie Noggle possibly (12:06).
3200 Meter Run Final (AA)- Wow, no Greenwall twin in this one? Sahara Fletcher of Westminster (11:13.70) is nursing an aching hamstring and a 1st place finish may be a bit more of a challenge than in 2010. Kate Beechum of Blessed Trinity pushed her to the brink at region in 11:30.79. Region 8-AA girls Madalyn Waters of Dawson County (11:43) and Dorie Faber of North Oconee (12:06) will be in the chase.
3200 Meter Run Final (AAA)- Erin Osment of St.Pius X seems to have a clear advantage in this race with a pr of 11:16.09. the battle may be for the next 4-5 spots including Jessie Dotson of White County (11:44), 3A Cross Country Champ Ericka Taylor of Westover (11:50.16) and keep in mind, how she came up huge in Carrollton and will be in front of a supportive home crowd...and Victoria Rogers of North Hall who hounded Dotson for 7.5 laps at 8-AAA region.
