Paige Comstock from Harrison unsurprisingly led the freshman girls at Carrollton this year with the only sub 19 performance

It's the time of year where we get to check out how everybody ranks by class at the 2024 GHSA State Championships. This is always fun to take a look at things by class to see who the top kids were on the same course over the same weekend. The weather varied, and 5A definitely got the worst weather, but this still gives us all an idea of where the kids stack up against their closest related peers.

The freshman girls class had 279 athletes competing at state. A total of 3 girls broke 20:00 and 15 of them broke 21:00 at Carrollton.
