After A Tragedy: How To Help Out Apalachee High School XC

Apalachee High School has become a great host for high school XC races

Life is precious. We all weep in the aftermath of tragic events. And our thoughts are with the people affected by the tragedies. I have learned over the years that the running community is such a big, loving family. It's been an honor to be a part of it and I've seen so much good come from it over the years. And right now our family could use our help. Due to the tragic event at Apalachee High school, they are reaching out asking for help. If you have any way to give to them, please consider doing so.

Here is a message from their coach:

In the wake of the recent tragedy that has deeply affected our community, we are facing significant financial constraints due to the cancellation of two major fundraisers, including the Apple Hawkins meet. During this time of crisis and healing, the cross country program at Apalachee High School urgently needs your help.

Raising funds is the quickest and most effective way for us to continue our season, as our plans have been derailed. We kindly ask you to share this page with your social media network to help alleviate the burden this event has placed on us. We are passionate about this sport and deeply appreciate all those willing to lend their support.

Thank you,
