Wood Moore from Wesleyan had a big day and was one of the top juniors at the state meet this year

It's the time of year where we get to check out how everybody ranks by class at the 2023 GHSA State Championships. This is always fun to take a look at things by class to see who the top kids were on the same course over the same weekend. The weather varied a little which does provide a slight advantage to those who raced earlier in the day, but this still gives us all an idea of where the kids stack up against their closest related peers.

The junior boys class had 461 athletes compete at the state meet. There were also a total of 5 boys who broke 16:00, while 38 of them broke 17:00, and a total of 117 of them broke 18:00
