Georgia MileSplit went out to record a workout with Will Sumner last week. Sumner recently broke the Georgia state record in the 400m at the state meet with a 45.78, breaking a record from gold medalist Antonio McKay that had stood since 1982. He also lowered his own state record in the 800m at the Music City Track Carnival to 1:46.53, less than 1/10th of a second off of the national record and good for 3rd all time. Sumner will compete in the 400m at Brooks PR and the 800m at Nike Nationals.
The Workout:
2x50m strides
150m
2 x broken 600
