The 7th Annual Georgia Indoor State Pole Vault Championships will be held January 22-23, 2022 at the Atlanta Track Club's Indoor Facility. This is the oldest pole vault specific indoor state competition in the USA.

The competition is hosted by the Atlanta Track Club, Pole Vault Atlanta and SMART Meet Management. The competition is always great and 70-80 jumpers are expected to compete over the two days.

Competition will include a Masters and Open Division and four Youth Divisions, two Girls and two boys.

The main "A" Divisions for Girls and Boys are the State Championship Divisions. Everything is on the line in theses groups, as they vie for the State Championship Title.

Girls Favorites:

The top two jumpers going into the State Meet are Layla Keadle (10th, North Springs/Pole vault Atlanta) and Malahne Walker(12th, Chapel Hill/Pole Vault Atlanta).

2021 Outdoor State Champion Layla has the highest indoor jump of the season (11-8) and is undefeated this year in State competition.

Malahne has the next best mark this season (11-4.5) and has been nipping at Layla's heels all year.

Boys Favorites:

By far the two best indoor jumpers this season are Alon Rogow (12th, Dunwoody/Pole Vault Atlanta) and Brenden Vanderpool(11th, Whitefield Academy/Unattached).

Alon is now the 2nd highest ever in GA Indoor History with his 16-6.75 jump at the Texas Express PV Expo just a few weeks back. Alon won the Indoor State Meet in 2020 with 15-1.

Brenden is the biggest surprise of the indoor campaign! He started his training this fall with a 12-6 PR. Now he is up to 15-2 and beat Alon Last week. His 15-2 mark is superior to the Single A Outdoor State Record (15-1).

Registration is still open for all levels of pole vaulters, girls and boys. Meet Information can be found here. Georgia Milesplit will be on site to cover the meet.
