2021 HS Girls Current Individual Rankings

Here are the HS Girls 2021 February Outdoor Track and Field athletes and relay teams of the month. The original intention was to select one athlete per Class. However, when crunching the data, it morphed into athletes by individual running events, field events, and relays. But, many of the performances by class as in 6A were so fantastic (see below as these Girls were all #1 All-Class) that more athletes deserved to be recognized for their early season achievements. I urge coaches and parents to please submit photos of your athletes if they are in the list below for February and we can add them to the article, and put them in a folder for future use when they deserve recognition again and again. 

Some trends have to be recognized that a few certain teams are so loaded and blessed with Buku top-tier talent that they will be hard to beat at State including Campbell, Westlake, Marist, Sandy Creek, and Westminster. This bodes well with nearly 6 weeks of competition in front of us until "Region Madness' begins. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and please be safe as we are not out of the woods' with COVID-19 yet...We will do a mid-March Team Power Rankings by class on 3/16. For A Public and Class 2A, we did need to include some performances from the first few days of March, as many of these schools' top athletes are still playing basketball in the State tournament.
