Commerce boys are loving every minute of it.
It wasn't as easy as 2019, as A Public has improved on the top end, but the Tigers successfully defended their 2019 state title led by seniors Brandon Martin and JJ Morris.
Brandon Martin of Commerce repeated as A Public Champ clocking a 16:50.
Simply put, Martin is the best cross country in the short history of A Public dating back to 2012. He could have run much faster Saturday if there was anyone to push him.
Leo Lopez of Greene County earned runner-up honors after sitting out 2019.
Mason Harris from Wilcox County was superb placing third at 18:06.
Jensen Brown from Towns County placed 4th overall at 18:22.
Ty Wood from Lake Oconee raced to 5th overall at 18:28.
Liam King of Towns County and David Williams from Schley County finished 6th/7th respectively
Jack Rush from Armuchee led his squad to 2nd place as a team.
