Girls - See Coach Wood results...I'm more serious this time as 9/10 raced and all that really happened was they mixed it a few places. Pius wins to take the top spot followed very closely by Marist and Blessed Trinity as those three change up their order yet again. Too bad we can't see them all 3 in the same race at state like last year. Next up is Marietta and Hillgrove who jump Pope after slightly better races. While these two appear to be the favorites to duke it out for the win at state, there are really about 8 teams who could come away with a trophy in 7A. Lambert, South Forsyth, and Mill Creek are 7th, 8th, and 10th, but really aren't far behind the top 2. In the crowded 7a race you can't count on anything when everybody is this close. There isn't much to separate them all. Pope and Riverwood sit at 6th and 9th and should put on a good show at the 6A state meet.
Watch List: Parkview, McIntosh, Jefferson, Etowah, Pace Academy
