August Cross Country Roundup 8-30

Kamari Miller is headed to Syracuse.

The first three weeks of the cross country season are now in the bag. There has been some great racing at many meets, and fast times considering all things going on. If you missed any of the coverage, scroll down below and click on links from each week to catch up on what you may have missed! Unfortunately, there also were several meets that decided to cancel due to the uncertainness of the COVID-19 situation (in July/early August)

Many individuals established themselves as contenders for state titles, including recent Syracuse signee Kamari Miller of Marietta, who blew the field away at Bob Blastow shattering the course record at 14:07, and the St. Pius X and Blessed Trinity girls have picked up where they left off last season looking very strong. But, the season is in high gear now with some big invitationals coming up in the next two weeks including:

AT&T Starrs Mill Panther Meet 9-5
14th Annual Run at the Rock 9-5
Carrollton Orthopaedic Invitational 9-12
