Perhaps even stronger overall than the boys side, Georgia HS girls have made their presence known on the National stage in the sprints. None moreso than Candace Hill from Rockdale County. Hill literally shocked the Track and Field world, shattering the sub 11.0 mark at the Brooks PR Invitational in 2015. Hill chose to forego her HS career shortly afterwards and turned Pro signing a lucrative contract with New Balance. # 2 on the list is Chalonda Goodman of Newnan HS who chose to compete for the University of Texas. Both of these young ladies totally dominated on the HS level in GA looking like grown women against girls in every race.
