3A Boys


Eli Morris easily won the 300h for the Dragons

Jefferson's boys were unstoppable this season and kept pouring it on during Saturday finals until they amassed 87 points. Eli Morris swept the hurdles events. In the field Robbie Head took Gold in the Shot at 51-4.50, Jason Burke won the HJ at 6-6 and the Dragons swept the top 2 spots in the Vault as Ryder Pagel cleared 14-6 and Tripp Bullock 14-0. Jefferson also scored a Silver in the 4x100 at 42.42 and placed 5th in the 4x400. Liberty County emerged as 2nd in the team standings with Westminster 3rd, and their was a tie for 4th between Hart County and Monroe-Albany.

Travon Phillips from Long County will have a happy trip home after racing to the 100m dash title in 10.68

It was all Eli Morris in the 110h as he glided to a winning time of 14.05

Pace swept the top 2 spots in the 800m with George Adams taking 1st at 1:56.12 and brother Sam Adams runnerup in 1:56.40

Travon Phillips from Long County won his 2nd Gold in the 200m dash clocking a nice 21.36

Franklin County left it all out on track winning 4x400 Gold in 3:23.03

3A Girls


Jasmine Jones led GAC to the team title

There were 3 dominant squads vying for the team title in 3A girls with Greater Atlanta Christian (GAC) getting some payback from 2018 as they upended crowd favorite Monroe Albany by 25 points. Jasmine Jones was huge for the Spartans as she left Albany with 5 Gold medals.. Jones blitzed the field in all 3 of her Individual events, beginning with the LJ at 20-2.25, 100m hurdles (14.12) and 200m dash (24.05) and was key in GAC's sweep of the relays. Chloe Fair sprinted to the 400m crown at 56.63, leaned hard for 300h Gold going 43.83 and jumped to Bronze in the LJ with a mark of 18-5.50  Alana Thomas placed 2nd in the Shot with a put of 40-2.50  Monroe Albany gave the home fans lots to cheer for taking 2nd as a team with 84 points with Jefferson pushing hard at 3rd only 5 points back. Cedar Grove took home the 4th place Cup having 55 points. 

GAC began their title run winning the 4x100 in 47.54

Aubrey Guyden of Cedar Grove won the 100m dash going 12.05

Chloe Fair of GAC won a pair of Golds in the 400m at 56.92 and later the 300h in 43.83

Jasmine Jones easily raced to Gold in the 100h posting a 14.12

Camielle Milledge of Monroe Albany swung wide late stealing 800m Gold clocking a 2:19.80

Jasmine Jones strutted to the 200m title in 24.05

GAC closed out their scoring like champs racing to 4x400 Gold in 3:55.12
