RMA Indoor Winter Challenge Provides Outlet for Georgia HS Tracksters

Riverside Military hosted its 2nd Annual Indoor Winter Invitational thia Saturday in their Indoor facility. 10 boys teams and 6 girls teams scored points with hometown school Gainesville winning the Boys side scoring 153 points, with Rome placing 2nd with 100. Rome turned the tables on the Girls side winning with 142, while Gainesville took 2nd with 91 points.

The biggest highlights of the meet came from the Girls PV competition as Alex Potts of Woodward and Ariel Arbiv of the Weber School both cleared 12-07.25 going 1st/2nd respectively. Morgan Johnson of Whitewater had a nice toss in the Girls Shot with a mark of 38-10.25. Brian Hauch of Parkview had a bar of 14-01 winning the Boys Vault with Tucker Keadle from Hebron Christian 2nd at 13-9. Jack Filan from Cambridge won a hotly contested 3000m race going 9:32, with Gainesville's Mugisha Beinvenu 2nd at 9:35. (Beinenu won the 1500m clocking a 4:29. The next Indoor meet at Riverside Military will be on February 3rd (Super Bowl weekend). See you there!
