15 schools will compete at the Parkview Invitational Saturday at the 'Big Orange Jungle' MileSplit GA will be onsite shooting thousands of photos as well. Parkview also has a new 'Jumbotron', which can display each runners place and time after crossing the finish line.
Some of the top talent in the state will be displaying their skills, including Georgia Boys Gatorade XC Runner of the year in Jacob McLeod from Trinity Christian. Some of the top programs onsite will include Parkview, Newton and Peachtree Ridge.
Events that are a much watch could be the 4x100, 1600, 100 and 200m dashes featuring Elija Godwin from Newton. Amir Harris from host Parkview in the Long Jump and Godwin and Julian McDuffie of Newton in the TJ.
On the Girls side, keep an eye out for LaNiya Rogers of Newton in the 100 and 200m, Aweng Mawein from Shiloh in the 300 hurdles, the 1600 and 3200 is going to be tight with Micah Weathers of Winder-Barrow, Alyssa Hooker from Lakeside-Evans and Beining Xiao of Chamblee going at it.
