The 'fast course' naysayers will point to Blastow and give a big uppity-sounding "HMPH", but SF currently has three girls under 19:00, and no other team has more than one. Their 4-5 at just over 20:00 is a little concerning, but they're top-heavy enough that they earned this spot.

Mill Creek's girls begin the season as they ended their last one - with a W. Camryn Petit and Sara Scales led the way for these girls at Berry and have given the Lady Hawks an early #2 ranking to start the season
3
Milton has opened their season with two runners-up finishes including a loss to current #1 South Forsyth. Marie Repasy is a formidable #1, but they'll need some help from their 2-5 to catch South Forsyth and to pass the Lady Hawks.
4
Brookwood's girls ran well in their debut and were led by their mainstay top Lady Bronco in Lauren Flynt. The concern is Memphis Twilight is a fast course, and their 5th runner wasn't too far under 21:00. Will hills pose a problem for this squad?

Well, the lost of Regan Poteet certainly stings, but West's ladies are still on their way to having a solid season. Liz Galarza is the clear #1 on this team and will need her teammates to pick it up a bit for this team to make the podium in 7A inaugural season.

Walton has started their season strong with a victory at Battle of the Fairways and a runner up finish at Bale N Trail. Walton only had 34 seconds separate their 1 from their 4, so while they may lack the true front runner, the small gap will bode well for them as the season progresses.
7
Like their male counterparts, Marietta opened their season with a victory down south at Saucony. They really lack strength at 5th 'wo'man though, so it'll be interesting to see how they compete at their county championship against other strong Cobb County foes.
8
Probably the surprise of the bunch, Hillgrove's girls have opened up their season with a runner-up finish at Battle of the Fairways and followed it with a 4th place finish at the Panther Invite. It's crowded above them for now, but don't sleep on this team.
9
The Lady Horns took 6th place at Berry and have been led by Briana O'Neal and Mae McKenna. The gap after that is pretty big for now though, so the rest of the scorers on this team will need to step it up if Lambert wants to move up this list.
