Union Grove: Bottom half of varsity has really improved from last season..maybe tired of the girls’ team getting all the attention?? Clarkston: Missing their #4 runner, but still probably would have finished 2nd to UG…Very close to retaining the #1 spot Starrs Mill: 1st race this season with the complete top 5. Will be a factor going forward in the State Championship conversation. Whitewater: Pack is improving, led by Harp. Eagles Landing: 17:21 @ SM (Top 3 can run with anyone in 5A…Can their pack catch up? McIntosh: very much in the hunt for a podium spot. Decatur: Led by one of the top individuals in the State..their pack could make some noise later in the season. Hiram: Starting to show why they were a pre-season top 10. Flowery Branch: This team is just warming-up…if history is any guide, they will be in the mix come November. Carrollton: Solid Showing at Rock Invite, home course advantage come November??
