Battle of Atlanta Preview


The Nash Farms course is a 2.5 loop 95% grass course. The course moderate in difficulty and it is the most spectator friendly course in Georgia. Spectators are able to see over 90% of each race. The Nash course has been home to numerous major high school XC meets, several NCAA D1 meets and conference championships and the 2013 D3 Regional Meet. This season, over 57 HS and 35 MS teams will be competing for glory.

Creekview, Auburn (AL), Eagle's Landing, Hebron Christian, Holy Innocents,  Jones County Girls, Chamblee Girls,  Lakeside Evans, Lambert, Landmark Christian, Mandarin (FL), Marist, North Oconee, Oconee County, Pace, St. Pius X, Union Grove, Whitewater and Woodward

Top Contenders for an Individual Title:

Leif Anderson of Marist- not on the list, but the soph had a great Outdoor season, summer training and time trial

Allen Clark of Lakeside Evans- Individual runnerup in AAAAA 3200/ Outdoor Track

Sam Ellis of Decatur- 'Sam the Man', AAA 800/1600m champion.
