Alyssa Wilson Breaks U-18 National Shot Put Record
Don't blink an eye or you might miss Alyssa Wilson setting another record! The steel measuring tape had to be brought out when the Donovan Catholic star's magical season continued Sunday evening. She threw 60-1.5 (18.33m) in the 3kg shot put setting the national under 18 record previously held by Sophia Rivera at 59-4.25 (18.09m) at USATF World Youth Trials. The new record throw took place at a Monmouth University Summer Throws series meet in conjunction with USATF.
